Nehru Zoological Park - Hyderabad

A bit of relaxation in the park

Not on talking terms

White Tiger

Emu caught on a bad hair day

Tigers might be history soon

The eternal struggle of Life

Photographs taken at Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad with Canon EOS 400D and Canon EF 70-200mm F/4 L IS USM Lens combined with Tamron 1.4X TC. I did not get to go on the safari this time, all shots are from the regular circuit around the zoo.

There are less the 1500 tigers left in the wild in India. White tigers are not separate sub-species of the tiger, but ones with a regressive gene leading to pale colouration (not albinos).

Nice pictures there, but I feel the white Tiger pics is little over exposed or lacks some contrast.
